Have you ever bullied anyone? If so, why did you do that?
How did that person respond?
How did you feel afterwards?
Have you ever been bullied? How did it make you feel?
How did you handle the situation?
In retrospect, what would you have done differently?
Have you ever witnessed anyone being bullied? Did you intervene?
If so, how?
If not, why not?
Who do you think are the most dangerous bullies:
Parents
Older siblings
School children
Teachers
Law enforcement officers
Other government officials
Neighbors
Imagine yourself being bullied by someone from one or more of these groups.
Would you:
Just walk away (if possible)?
Stay in the situation, but say nothing and resolve to take revenge or corrective action later?
Name what they are doing as bullying?
Calculate their greatest weakness - what they are hiding about themselves and
least want to hear said out loud about themselves - and call them out about it?
If they are not physically harming or threatening you, do you try to see the fear or the pain behind what they are
doing and feel compassion for that?
Do you think that people who bully others feel threatened by them? If so, how could you educate the bully so they would not feel threatened?
What would it take to create a world where right makes might rather than the other way around?
